Abandoned Docks III by steve-burg Abandoned Docks III by steve-burg
This is still very much a work in progress... but I decided to post it anyway.

*Edit* Let me clarify that - I won't be doing any more to this particular image you see here, but I'm going to continue developing the 3D assets and will eventually post the result of that continued development :)

The entire scene was made in Lightwave 3D, and touched up in Photoshop.

The figures are exported from DAZ Studio, although I made the clothes myself after searching high and low for an already-made parka and finding nothing suitable. I'll never be a tailor! :)

Hi Steve
Great work, I love it...I would like to use it on a web page for a group in a game (computer) as a background texture (IE: banner) Would you consider this, It's not for a profit or anything just a Role-play group. how dose one go about getting permission and what cost. thank you for sharing your talent.

Great atmospheric scene. Love the modelling work you've done in Lightwave.

Excellent work bro; using your piece to make a point about 3D models to produce works of art.

Very nice work on this. The depth and detail on this makes it worth looking at for sometime.

Thanks! The entire scene is pretty much standard polygon models. Most of the appearance of detail on the floor comes from the textures, which were pretty high res :)

It's like a movie scene but more surreal - like a weird dream - lovely work as always!
