After the traditional media, here is something digital... A fairly quick image done with some 3D assets I made a little while ago.

The rovers are out exploring the icy moon of a gas giant - perhaps one in another solar system.

The terrain is a displacement texture applied to a flat square mesh.

There is a little bit of Photoshop tweaking, but for the most part the image was created in Lightwave 3D. :)
