This is a piece of early concept art for a game project called "Tiberium". It started as a 3D render of a concept model I had developed of the large structures. I did a fair amount of 2D paint work to add the atmosphere and detail the environment.
The aircraft are also 3D design study models.
I worked on this project for several years as Art Director, and sadly the project was canceled when we were well into full production. It's a shame, because it's one of the coolest projects I've been fortunate enough to have an opportunity to work on. ***sigh***
