This is a test render of the vehicle shown in "The Coming Storm" [link]

It's an unfinished scene, nothing too amazing - but the vehicle is a bit easier to see without the blowing snow added in the finished painting

At this stage, the vehicle was nearly complete, but still had some "temp" textures and materials. The setting also changed quite a bit - at this point, the vehicle was parked on a large landing platform situated on top of a tall industrial structure - similar to an offshore oil platform.

The vehicle and platform were modeled and rendered in Lightwave 3D, with a mix of procedural textures and image maps painted in Photoshop. The suited figures were from a separate render test, and were pasted in to previsualize how the figures would look next to the vehicle
