Staging Point

While sorting through some old storage drives, I stumbled upon a cache of "ancient" digital art. Apparently this was done in July of 2000, going by the date!

All I can say for certain is that it is a 3D render created in Lightwave, with paint-over done in Photoshop.

While I know exactly what the scene represents, all I'll say here is that a bunch of human soldiers are exploring a large alien structure, and here we see them setting up a base camp.
