Underground Aquaducts by steve-burg Underground Aquaducts by steve-burg
This is an environment concept for the "Tiberium" project that also shows a vehicle. The entire foreground is 3D, which was rendered and blended into the background.

The background is based on some photos and unfortunately I can not recall where they originated. Sometimes, in order to save time, we would paste images together using whatever could be found in our reference collection. I almost never use photos in this way nowadays - however this image was made several years ago.

I can just feel the grip of that high-sheen glossed flooring, makes a nice surface to drive something like that on :]

Normally, they'd never drive a heavy vehicle like that on this platform - but they need to get further into the facility and this is the best path. It's kind of like seeing a truck driving through an airport terminal - definitely out of place, but it works :)

We had a whole family of vehicles that bore some similarities with each other.

I love the textures in this, especially on the flooring.

Thanks! The texture was made in Photoshop, with separate maps for color, specular and bump. And tracing reflections always helps with a floor :)

Once again, the design of the vehicle. (It's great !!!!) as the structure of the hangar, showing all your personality, at the time of capture, a scifi classic environment, become an image of great strength.

Thanks very much! I was trying to make a very real feeling, like this is not too amazing of a place - but not normally where a vehicle would drive. Kind of like a truck driving inside a shopping mall or something. The soldiers in the vehicle are looking for hidden enemies here...

I admit I do not know, which is what I prefer, for all you do in your images. but undoubtedly, vehicles, and spacecraft, are the element that most difference, your work, do the rest.
These designs seem to come out of a workshop on industrial development, and also, simultaneously, the most advanced design of NASA.
... gives a lot of envy! :)
